The next International Congress of the French Tunneling and Underground Space Association (AFTES) will be held at the LA CITE INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS CENTRE in Lyon, France on October 17, 18 and 19, 2011.
In connection with this Congress and as is customary for the AFTES, an exhibition is being organised in the immediate vicinity of the lecture theatre, with total space of 5000m². At the heart of this area, the Espace AGORA will constitute the central forum for discussions at the Congress. It will also be the venue for the opening ceremony and the Roundtable Debate.
This is just one of the innovations designed to further enhance the renowned friendly atmosphere of our Congress and raise the profile of participating exhibitors.
The stands offer an opportunity to present models, materials and various items of equipment relating to underground works, as each exhibitor chooses.
The AFTES International Congress is being organised jointly with the partner associations in Belgium (ABTUS/BVOTS), Spain (AETOS), Italy (SIG), Portugal (CPT) and Switzerland (FGU/GTS), providing exhibitors with additional openings. This will entail greater demand for stands.
